The Brownstone

The Brownstone is a beautiful bi-level wedding venue which is available for other large-scale events as well. Containing three dining rooms – the Magnolia, Valentine, and Jefferson, The Brownstone can accommodate parties anywhere from 25 to 300 people. The downtown structure also contains a large patio which can hold as many as 120 people, and a 200 seat ballroom with adjacent bride and groom suites. Rentals typically include tables, chairs, silverware, china, and glassware, and Butler's Unique Catering is available to provide food and drink. Plant Zero

Plant Zero is a massive event space located in the heart of the Manchester district. The converted warehouse is approximately 6,000 square feet and can hold up to 400 people. The space can be rented for all sorts of events, and specifically offers arrangements in banquet, reception, or theater style. This spacious and unique building is also rich with history, having been used to produce blankets, tents, and cots for the military in World War II. Basic rental packages include tables and chairs, and other add-ons can be purchased such as staging, event lighting, audio, lecterns, curtains, and video projection. The Washington Redskins use their training facility for camp two months of the year. The rest of the time, it is an awesomely unique indoor-outdoor event space available for all sorts of occasions. The facility is available for sports and social gatherings, fundraisers, corporate galas, private events, and more. The outdoor fields as well as the indoor foyer, locker rooms, and conference room are available for use. The indoor areas can accommodate 60 people for sit-down events and as many as 150 for cocktail-style occasions. The outdoor area has virtually limitless seating space and there is plenty of parking available as well. The Depot

The Depot

The VCUarts Depot is a beautiful and historic building which can hold up to 150 people for events. A renovated trolley station originally built in 1907, the spacious structure features wood tones, skylights, and hand crafted furniture meshed with state of the art modern technology. Events can also include access to the two downstairs galleries, conference room, and soundstage featuring a motion capture lab, infinity wall, and 3D printers. Other technological features can be added on for free with a reservation including projectors and screens, smart boards, and mac minis. Tin Pan

Tin Pan is a full service restaurant and music venue which is also available for private events. Only a year old, the venue has already received much praise, being names one of the best music venues in Richmond by Richmond Magazine. In addition to scheduled shows, Tin Pan also offers reception space for up to 180 as well as a covered patio with room for 30. All private events include access to the 400 square foot performance stage, high-end LED lighting, and top notch sound system. Possible themed private events include cocktail classes, a rock star fantasy experience with a live band, music trivia night, band-themed parties, open mic or talent shows, private concerts, or movie nights. Capital Ale House is a spacious bar and restaurant known for having an incredible beer selection with almost 200 taps available. It has been honored by Richmond Magazine and Beeradvocate for the eclectic array of drinks which is especially focused on Virginia-brewed beers. Each of the three locations around Richmond has a banquet room and can hold over 100 guests total for gatherings and dinners, with the downtown location containing space for as many as 300. Game rooms are also available with pool tables and dart boards. Special group menus are available which can offer slider bars, bacon fritters, and carving stations.
