The Greater Richmond Convention Center is Virginia's largest meeting and exhibition facility. As one of the most versatile and well-equipped venues in the mid-Atlantic, we are thoroughly devoted to offering event planners, show producers, exhibitors and consumers all the amenities expected of a world-class facility.
The Greater Richmond Convention Center houses 32 meeting rooms, flexible spaces for events of all types and sizes. Each room is equipped with state of the art electronics. In total, there is more than 80,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, along with a 258 fixed-seat lecture hall to accommodate your needs for a convention of any size.
Boasting some 700,000 square feet of impressive interior space, the Greater Richmond Convention Center is designed to serve events large and small. An event as intimate as a wedding is as well suited to our facility as a national convention. Multiple entrances and divisible spaces make it a perfect location for business meetings, association and trade shows, consumer product showcases, banquets, galas, sporting events and more.
The Convention Center won the Sports Events Magazine 2015 Readers Choice award, and is certified Virginia Green for its recycling and energy-saving practices.
The Grand Ballroom (pictured) is a vast 30,550 square feet and divisible into three separate rooms. It seats 2,750 people theatre-style, 1,600 banquet-style or 1,500 classroom style. Outside the ballroom, there is also a large pre-function area for meeting registrations, receptions, or other activities that may need to take place in conjunction with your event.

Tables and chairs are typically included with basic space rentals. Add-ons that can be provided for a fee include a/v, staging, dance floor, pipe & drape.

Rates start at $172 for the smallest rooms, and $1905 for a larger space such as the ballroom.
There may be food & beverage discounts on banquet services based on volume.
