Plan your best group event in Richmond, VA
Tammy Brawley is a regular contributor on WTVR 6 Virginia This Morning as a chef instructor, teaches at Mise en Place Cooking School and has been featured in the Richmond Times Dispatch and Style Weekly.
Her company, the Green Kitchen, provides couples and groups with the opportunity to host an event in their own home that's unique – instead of just dining together, guests cook together as well.
For people interested in “grow what you eat," Tammy can shed light on composting, gardening and food production. She believes that the fresher the food, the better it is.
Tammy makes cooking seem simple and attainable and proves it is not as hard as people think. She is passionate about cooking and loves all flavors.
For in-home cooking parties with the Green Kitchen, there are no age limits. Group sizes range from individuals to intimate in-your-home parties for small groups and larger parties for up to 200 people.
Instructional parties typically include appetizers, entrees, sides and dessert. A pre-party consultation establishes the menu for the event. Guests can choose from appetizer parties, wine pairing parties, hands-on cooking instruction and demonstration classes. Classes can be scheduled for any meal of the day – breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner.
Parties are typically two hours. Set up and clean up are done by Tammy and her staff.
Send a message through PartyRVA to receive $50 off the total cost of the party.
Parties of 8 people start at $360, including food.
